This reptilian is the leader of the mutant army. He always speaks with a hiss. While he is fairly strong, he isn't very bright and almost never succeeds in his attempts to beat the ThunderCats.
He was the one who led the final attack on Thundera just before it exploded and when it did he commanded for his forcers to attack the ThunderCats as the escaped the destruction. When the attack failed, he had his ship follow the Thundercats to Third Earth.
His most common way of transportation is the Nose Diver, built by Vultureman before Thundera exploded. He has also traveledin the Sky Cutter, another invention by Vultureman.
Slythe believes himself to be smarter and better than Mumm-Ra and questions Mumm-Ra's plans--though never to his face...
