There's a lot of questions of why the Thundercats look naked during their escape of Thundera when it was blowing up. Some people say it's because the animators were being modest but I don't think that's the case. Thundercats was created in Japan and the Japanese are not modest. If you were to watch a non censored Japanese Animated movie or cartoon, you would see that this is true. Non censored Japanese animation shows nudity, including detailed private parts.
I have my own theory why there seems to be lack of parts with the Thundercats. If Thundercat fans were to take note of the Thundercats before and after they got their known outfits there would be substantal evidence to back up my theory.
My theory is they are wearing tight body suits that matches their colors. Other than Panthro, this theory is very believable. All the Thundercats had white torsos when they left Thundera but when they landed on Third Earth, there was no white torsos except for Panthro and they wore foot gear.
Cheetara - she wears some sort of belt around her waist before she starts wearing the orange uniform
Lion-O - when his outfit became known his torso was no longer white.
Tygra, Wilykit and Wilykat, their outfits cover their whole torso.
