"Well, well...Grown some hasn't he?" Tygra chuckled, as he blocked another attack.
"Ah! My eyes!" Monkian groaned as the smoke from Wilykat's attack got to him.
"Good going Kat. I think you blinded him." Kit smiled.
Venus glanced back at her sister, a question clearly written on her young face. "Cute?"

Tigress looked at her sister with a blank look but then suddenly blushed. She didn't realize she spoke out loud. "Oops. I was meaning one the ThunderCats."
Wilykat heard Tygra speak. He looked at Lion-O. "What's the big deal... about height." He then blew a capsule at Monkian making him blind. He then looked at his sister. "Yup, you're right."
"Back to the Ship!" Slythe suddenly shouted, calling a retreat. He then activated his teleporter, going back to the ship. Jackalman did the same. All the other Jackalmans and reptiles went back to the ship.
"Damn!" Tigress moaned in saddness. She moved away from the window. "Venus, you better move away from the window. You know how Monkian loves to make you suffer."

Venus laughed at her sister and developed that mischievous trademark grin. "Tigress and a thundercat sitting in a tree!" she began hopping on the bed. "K-I-S-S-ING! First comes love, then comes....."
"Oh I can't believe we got defeated so badly." Monkin said walking down the hall where the girls were locked up. "It's an embarrassment I tell you Sl-Slythe."

"Venus! Stop! The Mutants are coming!" Tigress rushed over to her sister, clamping a hand over the child's mouth. The ship was now flying away from the battle field.
"I know!" Slythe growled as he walked with Monkian. "Damn those ThunderCatsss. That one who called the ThunderCats must be the Lord of the ThunderCats, but he was just a cub 10 years ago."

"Mrrph mph mmmpph." Venus mumbled around her sisters hand.
Just then the door slammed open. "So what do we have here?" Monkian laughed. "A couple of stray cats."
Venus's eyes widened. They were back already. Did that mean they lost.... or were the Thundercats perhaps locked up somewhere in the ship.
Venus trembled slightly. Her bravado of earlier long forgotten.

Tigress growled at the monkey. She was about to retort a comment when suddenly the ship surged forward.
Slythe moved over to a communicator against the wall. "What is going on?!" he snapped.
"We are above a dessert," Jackalman announced and something is causing our engines to malfunction!"

"Snaarf!" Snarf looked around at the wreckage, and the surrounding area and shuddered. "This place sure is nothing like Thundara."
As much as Snarf hated to admit it Lion-O had grown. And the Snarf couldn't help but feel he just wasn't needed anymore like he was once. Perhaps the Lord of the Thundercats would even abandon him. Snarf shook these thought from his head.
Nope, Lion-O wasn't like that. He'd never abandon a friend. It just wouldn't happen.
"Blasted stabilizer spirals are completely shot!" Panthro walked out, interrupting Snarf's musings.
Venus eyes widened at the announcement. She looked at Slythe in terror. "Does this mean we are going to crash?"
Normally she would have never spoken her concerns to any mutant. But she was terrified.
Monkian took off heading for the engine room. "I'll check on it."

Lion-O was about to answer the Snarf when Panthro interrupted him. He moved from where he was, leaning against the tree to the crashed ship. He walked over to where Tygra was standing.
"What's going on?" he asked.
Tigress wrapped her arms securely around her sister. "I'll protect you," she whispered.
Slythe quickly followed the monkey.

"How do things look....otherwise?" Tygra asked.
"Not too bad. All in all.I'm pretty sure I can scrounge together enough metal from the wreckage to build us a thundertank." Panthro lifted a metal pipe and bent it cleanly in half.
Snarf watched from the distance. Feeling a little down. No one even paid him the slightest attention. "Snarf....."
"It's some sort of structure." Monkian pointed to the screen. "I think it's responsible for the ships problems."

Lion-O smiled. He knew his friends would be able to figure something out. He glanced around to see who was all around. Wait a minute... before he released his friends from their sleep there were two tiger girls appearing to be trapped in a pod, but they weren't there with them. What was going on?
Cheetara saw the confusion on her leader's face. "What's wrong Lion-O?" she asked.
Lion-O looked at his female friend. "I'm not sure," he said honestly. "Before I freed you from the capsules, I used the sight beyond sight to see that it was you guys in them, but I also saw two tiger girls as well."
"We're going down!" Slythe announced in a loud voice.

"We're gonna crash!" Venus squealed. She could almost imagine them hitting and everything engulfed in fire from the resulting explosion. She keeled on the floor, pulling her knees in and squeezing her eyes shut.

"The-The controls. They're not responding!" Monkein jerked back to avoid the sparks from the controls.

"Two tiger girls?" Tygra seemed interested. "Lion-O, are you certain of this?"

Tigress cuddled Venus tight against. "I love you dear sister," she whispered, tears forming in her eyes.
"Brace for inpact!" Slythe said through the intercom.
"I'm certain," Lion responded. "I specifically saw two tiger girls. One child. One woman and they were both peering through a small window. Basically the same size as the capsules window."

Flames erupted from the doomed mutant ship. Smoke flew back for miles, as the ship descended towards an old pyramid. There were four pillars of some sort around it. Like some mythical structure to honor the ancient gods or something.
Venus hid her head againt her sisters shoulder and tried to hold her tears back.
"Cry if you must." Tigress patted her head. "There is no shame in fear of death."
Venus looked up to see tears staining her sisters fur, and that was when she broke. "Sister, I'm so sorry. Sorry, sorry, sorry....."
Tigress hugged her closer. "There is nothing to apologize for."

"We're fa-fa-falling!" Jackleman pulled up on the steering column.
Monkein jumped to help.
But there was no need. The same force that was causing them to crash seemed to catch the ship and send it to the ground at an angel, vs straight down in a nose dive.
The ship hit the sand and plowed along until it came to a stop just several feet before the large pyramid.

Venus looked up when she felt the two of them moving at a fast speed and a sudden jolt. Her head felt a little sore and she looked up to see they had hit the wall. Tigress taking the brunt of the impact.
Venus gasped.
"Oh no.....Are you alright sister?"

Tigress slowly lifted her body, releasing her sister. "Ow..." she weakly said as tears stung her eyes.
Slythe had jolted forward, ramming into Jackalman. He lifted himself up. "Damage report!" he retorted.

"The stabilizer is fried and......the control panel's short circuited." Monkian pressed a few buttons, which only resulted in sparks. "We should probably see what attacks us....but why not send the tiger girls out first? Then if they were to attack we would not be injured."

Tygra looked at her when she paused. "What is it you think Wilykit?"
"Well.....Could it be possible what Lion-O saw of the two girls was an event in the future and not of the present?"
