Darien smiled. "I was thinking the same thing. I think it would be nice to take Rini to e park and let her play with the other kids. She would love that. Shall we dress in what we have on, or wear something more casual?"

Meanwhile,Mina was at the animal shelter with Neflite and their daughter.Mina told the little girl she could help pick out a family dog.

Neflite grasped his baby girl's hand and then after asking Mina to come too, the three walked into back. Little Alice saw many animals.
"There's so many," she said in her cute little voice. "What to choose? Mommy. What you think?"

Alice starting thinking again. She let go of her daddy's hand began looking at them. She then saw this cute little pug. "Mommy is this ok?" She pointed to the little pug.
Neflite looked at the Pug. He thought the little was cute, but it was up to Mina. She was the one with the talking cat.

Mina looked at the card." It says here this pug is good with kids and other animals.He is cute."the love scout said,asking the kennel worker to get the pug.The man did,and Mina let Alice hold the freindly tan pug first.

Alice slowly walked over to the animal and started petting it. Before long it started jumping on her and licking her face causing her laugh and giggle. "Mommy. Daddy. I love him. Can we call him Pugsy."
While Mina was dealing with the man of the shelter, Neflite told Alice what type of dog he was.

Mina smiled,and told Alice she could name it "Pugsy". Mina then went up front with her family and paid the adoption fee while Neflite filled out the adoption papers.
"Let's go to the pet store after this and get some things for Pugsy." Mina told Neflite.

Neflite smiled. "Yes, we should. And then we'll go to the park so Pugsy and Alice can get to know each other. And then later Victoria can see Pugsy." Neflite had a hold of Alice's hand as they walked towards the Pet supply shop.

Alice gave an ugly look at the idea of cleaning up pet messes. Neflite chuckled. "It's ok honey. Until you get used to it we'll help you."
"Ok," she said, still giving the ugly look.
