Melvin also waved back before turning to push his daughter in the swings again.

Molly was happy, though sad too. She was happy that her family was safe, mother included, but sad that she lost the only home she ever known. But she couldn't really dwell on that. Her, Melvin and her family have been living on the station for almost 2 months and they have gotten used to it.
"Mother," Michelle said. "This is delicious. You still can make one heck of a picnic."

"Thank you,Michelle." Mama Kaioh said,smiling. Amara had some delicious baked chicken while Hotaru had a yummy turkey sandwich.
Molly's mother showed up and greeted Molly and Melvin.Melvin and the kids greeted back.

Molly looked at her husband. "Melvin, dear," she said. "Maybe the children could play with Hotaru. I'm sure it would calm the nerves a bit for them. The children at least won't be hurt now from crazy streets."

While the three children were allowed the play, the parents of the children were able to relax. Michelle was sitting in front of Amara, leaning her back, back against Amara. "They seem to able to play together," Michelle said. "I'm glad they were able to escape before the Earth became too unstable."

Michelle softly smiled as she closed her eyes. "I love it when you do that. It's so relaxing and very enjoyable. Perhaps that's why I keep my hair long. Well that and you prefer to be long."

"Amara," Michelle looked up, cocking her head to side so she could look at her wife. "Perhaps after Hotaru goes to bed, maybe we could watch a movie or cuddle up in candle light. We haven't done that in almost a year."

The two families spent a few hours at the park until Molly and Melvin's children began to tire and get stubborn. Of course that is what all children do when the get tired. So the younger couple left with their children. Molly's mother went with them. When the family was gone, all there was left was Amara and Michelle's family.
"Hotaru, you getting tired?" Michelle asked as she still leaned against Amara's body.

Michelle helped out as did the mothers. Once the picnic was all packed up everyone back back to the quarters. As Michelle entered their quaraters, she quickly got things set up for the cat and allowed Hotaru to go play in her room.
Michelle laid down on the sofa with a plop. Her hair and dress ended up fanning around her body. "I wonder how long it will take for people to get back to normal," she said.
